Holiday season is around the corner; are you worried about packing on the pounds?? Well don’t be…we all know
that when it comes to losing the weight it’s a synergy between watching what you eat aka dieting and exercising!
Celebs always (almost always) seem to get it right, so we did some scouting to find the secret to some fabulous celeb
bodies that we all ogle over. Surely you will find something that you can give a go…
Adam Levine claims that yoga is an investment on his happiness. He says he chooses yoga over conventional forms
of exercise.
“Weights made my neck thick, and I would be like, ‘I’m turning into a monster!’ Yoga takes what you have and molds
and sculpts it, which is a much more natural way to look and feel,” Levine says. “I don’t like how people bull****
about how yoga is not about vanity.”
He also dished that he doesn’t get it easy. His yoga master tours with him, putting him through difficult and
elaborate yoga routines. But as Mr. Levine said it’s all worth it!
Well if yoga is not your thing, would you care to try some dancing?
Nicole Scherzinger claims that she has been conscious of her weight from the early age of 14. However, things have
changed. The Pussycat doll says she is more accepting of her body and has learned to embrace it. My new motto
is: ‘Stay active, eat everything in moderation, and stop being so tough on myself.’”
However, when she does get a little chubbier (seems impossible to us that she ever can) she resorts to dancing.
Preparing and rehearsing for her tours helps her shed the excess easily. She went on to add that “I also have a
resistance workout that does wonders for my arms and abs.” Now who won’t want abs like Nicole?
Moving right on…need something a little less grueling yet effective? If that is the case you might need a change in
mindset like Mrs. Sarah Michelle Gellar. I don’t know about all of you but to have been a vampire slayer (even just
on camera) you must now something about keeping in shape.
The lovely mother of one understands that being an actor people dissect you for two pounds but she has learnt not to
bother. I think that this is something we all can learn from. We all have a few people who can’t get enough of taking a
poke at you when you pack on a couple of lbs. So keep reading!
She claims that she doesn’t weigh herself obsessively. “You can’t live your life by the scale. We don’t even have one
in our house. I’ve never believed in them, because your weight fluctuates. It’s more about how my clothing fits than
a number,” she says. Besides, if you deny yourself everything because you’re so focused on the mirror or the scale,
then when do you get to enjoy life?”
You have got to admit that there is some truth in that!
Well weather its cardio, jogging, Pilates, Yoga, dancing or even taking the stairs. Being healthy is a lifestyle not a
trend, so you work to get there and work to stay there. If you keep stressing about you weight, you will be stressed
for life. Change your mindset, stay committed to your regime and reap the benefits.
It’s time for me to put on my dancing shoes. Signing out; Selena
